Cynthia is a Brazilian extreme sports celebrity babe and as the local co-presenter of The Lads Guide To Rio she tells us where to find the finest honeys and the cool places to hang. Cynthia gives us the inside track on how to chat up the Brazilian ladies and tells us where to check out the hottest beach babes. Cynthia is a latin sports phenomenon, she's not only a Brazilian wakeboard champion, snowboard board champion and surfing champion but she's also into scuba diving, parachuting, mountain climbing and handgliding. In fact Cynthia is into any kind of sport with a fear factor that gives her an adrenaline rush. We called her superwoman. In Brazil Cynthia isn't just famous for her sports skills she was also voted "summer muse of Ipanema", which translates as beach honey of the year. She is a lads magazine cover model and graces the pages of Vogue and ELLE and has her own Radio and extreme sports TV shows. All of which make Cynthia a celebrity babe in Brazil with a lot of male admirers. IWe knew Cynthia was a bit of a Brazilian "it girl", she dates celebrity popstars and actors but we couldn't believe it when she said she could call Ronaldo on his mobile to ask for an interview. When he invited us to a private practise session and gave us an exclusive interview we realised it might have actually been because Ronaldo was one of Cynthia's fans, especially given his fine taste in Brazilian women.

For those of you who don't know Ronaldo Luiz Nazario de Lima, simply called Ronaldo by his fans, was born in Rio de Janeiro and currently plays football for Real Madrid where he one of the "Galacticos", a superstar player. He was International Football Player of the year 3 times and won the Golden Boot for scoring the most goals in the last World Cup. If Ronaldo scores 3 more goals in the 2006 World Cup he will become the highest scoring player in World Cup history. Ronaldo's first wife Milene Domingues is a Brazilian celebrity sports babe who holds the keepie uppie World Record and his ex fiancee Daniela Cicarelli is a gorgeous Brazilian celebrity model.

Cynthia a Carioca, some one who is from Rio and her Mom is Brazilian but her Dad is French and she often visits family in the South of France. As a girl Cynthia trained as an olympic gymnast for 10 years and played tennis for Flamengo. Now she practises Yoga and vegetarianism, studies Astrology and is into Buddhism. Cynthia has a degree in environmental law and post grad in Journalism. She does pro bono work as a lawyer for environmental campaigns and also founded an environmental protection group in Rio which was invited to join the council of the World Wild Life Foundation. The Maracana stadium was built for the fourth world cup in 1950 since then it has seen many of the best football players in the world. It's where Pele the king of the beautiful game first stepped on to a pitch for Brazil and where he scored his 1000th club goal. Capoeira was historically a pure martial art form but it was combined with dance and music to disguise it's true nature and in this way it was practised amongst the slaves and spread throughout the plantations. |
